Capture/Business Development Manager

enGenius Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a driven and experienced Capture Manager/Business Development Professional to lead the pursuit of Prime contract opportunities. In this key role, the selected candidate will work closely with the President and Vice President of Operations to identify, shape, and manage opportunities through all phases of the capture process.

The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in Federal contract capture, including a solid understanding of capture strategy, teaming analysis, and the development of compelling technical and management approaches. Strong organizational abilities, as well as exceptional verbal and written communication skills, are essential.

Responsibilities:

Lead the identification and capture of new business opportunities, maintaining a robust pipeline aligned with DoD and federal agency priorities.
Apply a thorough understanding of the capture lifecycle, including stage-gate reviews, capture strategies, and Bid/No-Bid decisions.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to assess and prioritize opportunities.
Build strategic relationships with new and existing customers and engage early in the acquisition process to help shape requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop compliant, competitive proposal teams.
Engage regularly with government and industry stakeholders to shape and position for upcoming opportunities.
Search and monitor federal opportunity portals (e.g., SAM.gov, GSA eBuy, Deltek GovWin) for RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
Analyze solicitation requirements and contribute to the development of responsive, compelling proposal content.
Support the Proposal Manager with writing assignments and actively participate in proposal color team reviews.
Develop opportunity-specific win strategies, themes, and discriminators that align with customer needs and mission goals.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint, CRM systems, and other business development tools.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills for engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness and ability to travel as required to support capture and business development efforts.
Perform additional duties as assigned in support of company growth objectives.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate-level capture role, supporting federal contracts, preferably DoD.
Solid understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other commonly used business software tools.
Shipley capture certification or training is a plus.

Active or previously held Secret Clearance is desired.

U.S. citizenship required.
