Position Summary
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support aerospace composite production and development programs. This role focuses on achieving zero-defect manufacturing through robust process design, advanced technologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement solutions for complex manufacturing challenges
- Support production integration and resolve supplier-related issues
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances
- Design tooling and production plans using established engineering methods
- Contribute to product development activities including quoting, configuration changes, and first article inspections
- Drive Lean initiatives and process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience
- U.S. Person status required (ITAR compliance)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with aerospace composites or polymers
- Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Leadership experience or mentoring background
- Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing principles
