Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Mobile, AL, 36608. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities- Operate Class A commercial vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Transport goods to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
- Ensure the cargo is secured and protected during transit.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols.
- Assist with loading and unloading of goods as needed.
- Valid Class A CDL license.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to operate a variety of commercial vehicles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
