The Operations & Supply Chain Manager oversees the end-to-end manufacturing and supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination between production, procurement, inventory, and logistics. This role is responsible for optimizing ERP-driven processes to enhance efficiency, data accuracy, and visibility across departments. The manager drives operational excellence through data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, supporting the company's goals of on-time delivery, cost control, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
+ Lead daily production supply chain operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and adherence to quality and delivery standards.
+ Monitor and improve key performance indicators such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), throughput, scrap, downtime, and capacity utilization.
+ Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimize workflows and equipment utilization.
+ Drive initiatives to reduce waste, improve productivity, and ensure operational consistency.
+ Oversee procurement, supplier management, and material planning to ensure timely and cost-effective availability of components and raw materials.
+ Manage relationships with vendors and logistics providers, negotiating terms and tracking supplier performance.
+ Monitor inventory levels to maintain optimal stock and reduce working capital.
+ Coordinate logistics and shipping operations, ensuring on-time delivery and cost efficiency.
+ Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with production goals and customer requirements.
+ Serve as the operational owner for ERP workflows across manufacturing, purchasing, and inventory management.
+ Ensure data integrity and accuracy within ERP modules and oversee the proper use of BOMs, routings, and cost tracking.
+ Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and reporting enhancements.
+ Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and user experience.
+ Develop and maintain dashboards to track operational and supply chain KPIs.
+ Analyze production, supplier, and logistics data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
+ Present findings and recommendations to senior management to drive informed decision-making.
+ Supervise and mentor operations and supply chain team members, fostering accountability and continuous improvement.
+ Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Essential Skills
+ ERP experience, preferably with global shop systems.
+ Data analysis and KPI management.
+ Experience with MRP, BOM, and supplier management.
+ Proficient in SAP.
+ 5-10 years of experience in related fields.
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in manufacturing processes.
+ Knowledge of lean principles and Lean Six Sigma.
+ Understanding of 'Just in Time' methodologies.
+ Operations Management experience.
Work Environment
This role is based in an onsite manufacturing facility located in Chase Park. The work schedule is from 8 AM to 5 PM. The position involves spending approximately 60% of the time behind a desk and 40% on the manufacturing floor. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
