Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A professional Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Jacksonville, AL, focusing on school-based teletherapy services. This contract role emphasizes delivering high-quality speech therapy through virtual platforms, supporting students in educational settings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and providing targeted therapy via telespeech modalities.
- Collaborating with educational staff to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Utilizing teletherapy tools effectively to engage pediatric clients in school environments.
- Applying clinical knowledge consistent with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) standards.
- Monitoring and documenting progress, adjusting therapy plans accordingly.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license with CCC certification.
- Proven experience in school settings, ideally with teletherapy delivery.
- Expertise in pediatric speech-language therapy.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage caseloads independently in remote environments.
- Previous work in healthcare or pediatric settings preferred for well-rounded clinical insight.
