As a Security Officer Badge Room in Theodore, AL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location where you will help manage access control, verify badges and credentials, and support a professional, welcoming entry experience. This role combines strong communication, attention to detail, and visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor and vendor access, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post orders and established security-related procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, and the perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document daily activity, access-related events, and incident details in required logs and reports to help support Allied Universal and client communication.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
