Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for designing and implementing efficient and effective mechanical systems. As a Mechanical Engineer at M & D Mechanical Contractors, you will play a crucial role in the planning, designing, and execution of various projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for commercial, industrial, and residential projects

- Perform calculations, simulations, and tests to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of mechanical systems

- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to develop project plans and specifications

- Review and approve designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements

- Conduct site visits to assess project progress and provide technical support to construction teams

- Identify and troubleshoot any issues or problems that may arise during the design, construction, or operation of mechanical systems

- Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in mechanical engineering technology and techniques

- Ensure all work is completed within budget and on schedule

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the construction industry

- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, codes, and standards

- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design software

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
