Logistic Support Associate / Box Truck Driver
SUMMARY
The Logistics Support Associate is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of production
materials between our facility, to another facility in Montgomery and a facility in Georgia.
This role ensures materials are delivered efficiently to support production while assisting
with warehouse operations during periods without transportation assignments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Safely Operate a company cargo van to transport materials.
• Load and secure production materials into the company van (up to 100 lbs).
• Complete scheduled and unscheduled shuttle runs as needed throughout the shift.
• Unload materials at designated customer or supplier locations.
• Fuel the company vehicle and submit fuel receipts to Purchasing.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and complete required inspection logs.
• Report maintenance issues, accidents, or safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain compliance with all traffic laws and company safety policies.
• Keep accurate transportation records and delivery documentation.
• Pack production materials.
• Assist with cycle counting and inventory accuracy.
• Support warehouse, shipping, and receiving operations as needed.
• Assist other departments during downtime to support production needs
REQUIREMENTS
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to operate a cargo van safely.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. with assistance when necessary.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 30 lbs.
• Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain).
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Basic communication and organizational skills.
Shifts: 1ST, 2ND and 3RD shifts are available.
Pay: $21.00 to $24.00 depending on experience.
This is a contract to permanent job opportunity.
You will be required to pass a drug screen and background check.
