As a seasonal Recreation Supervisor, you’ll oversee all aspects of the hotel’s recreational activities, ensuring smooth operations and a memorable guest experience. Leading the recreation team, you’ll maintain high service standards, engage with guests, and ensure the safety and enjoyment of all activities. Your proactive leadership will ensure the success of the seasonal programs, contributing to a welcoming and fun atmosphere that keeps guests returning year after year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Engagement: Interact with guests to promote recreational activities, encourage participation, and create a welcoming atmosphere that enhances their stay.
- Event Coordination: Organize special events and themed activities, collaborating with other departments to create unforgettable experiences.
- Feedback & Improvement: Solicit guest feedback on activities, assess satisfaction levels, and identify areas for enhancement to continually improve the guest experience.
- Safety Management: Enforce safety guidelines across all recreational activities, minimizing risks and ensuring a secure environment for guests and associates.
- Facility & Equipment Oversight: Manage the maintenance, inventory, and condition of recreational equipment and supplies to ensure they’re in optimal working order.
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and training to the recreation team, ensuring service excellence and adherence to safety protocols.
- Facility Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the recreational areas, and coordinate any necessary maintenance.
Education and Experience:
- Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
