**Job Description**
The Manager, Strategic Sourcing - External Manufacturing is responsible for leading sourcing activities and supplier management focused on external manufacturing for Oracle Cloud and On-Premise businesses. This role manages a team of Sourcing professionals who develop and implement sourcing strategies, ensure supply continuity, drive continuous improvement and cost competitiveness across our manufacturing supply base.
**Responsibilities**
+ Develop, implement, and maintain sourcing strategies, supplier selection, and contract management for external manufacturing partners.
+ Lead supplier relationship management to ensure continuity of supply, cost optimization, and performance to meet Oracle business requirements.
+ Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams to align sourcing initiatives with product design, capacity needs, and regulatory requirements.
+ Facilitate the sourcing process, including preparation and evaluation of RFI/RFP/RFQs, supplier selection, negotiation of master supply agreements, and overseeing supplier onboarding.
+ Optimize supplier base by consolidating sources, developing alternate sources, and ensuring risk mitigation strategies are in place for external manufacturing.
+ Drive cost reduction, compliance, and quality improvement across externally manufactured goods.
+ Support escalations related to supply disruptions, working to swiftly identify and engage alternate supply sources.
+ Provide leadership, coaching, and development for the Sourcing team and other colleagues involved in supplier management.
+ Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and Oracle's internal sourcing and procurement best practices.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $87,000 to $178,100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
