Job Title: Mechanic
Job Description

Join our repair shop team where you will work on motors sent in from mills and mines. You will have the opportunity to test motors, change out parts, and rebuild AC/DC motors, drives, coils, and shafts to ensure they are functioning optimally.

Responsibilities

• Test and diagnose issues with motors received from mills and mines.
• Perform part replacements and rebuilds on AC/DC motors, drives, coils, and shafts.
• Utilize troubleshooting skills to repair motors and resolve mechanical issues on plant equipment.
• Conduct maintenance and preventive maintenance on various mechanical systems.
• Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, and motor drives, including VFDs.

• 3-5+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing motors and mechanical issues.
• 3-5+ years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and motors.
• 3-5+ years of experience with Drive Motors, AC/DC Motors, and VFDs.
• 3-5+ years of experience performing maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• 3-5+ years working with electrical motors and components.

• 3-5+ years working as a maintenance technician.
• 2-5+ years working with engines and motors.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Docena, AL.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
