Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A middle school special education teaching opportunity is available in Albertville, AL for the 2025-2026 school year. This contract position will provide resource and inclusion support to students with mild to moderate needs. Ideal candidates hold an Alabama Special Educator certification and have experience managing caseloads in a middle school setting.

• Experience in resource and inclusion classrooms
• Ability to support middle school students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Strong collaborative and communication skills

Location:

• Albertville, AL (middle school environment)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support to students based on IEP goals
• Manage a caseload primarily focused on resource and inclusion services with no severe behaviors or disabilities
• Collaborate with general education teachers to support student success
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
• Communicate regularly with parents, staff, and administrators

Details:

• Contract position for the 2025-2026 school year
• Start date: August 4, 2025
• End date: May 22, 2026
• Schedule: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
