Traffic Control Foreperson- Birmingham, AL
Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the project manager with a variety of duties associated with traffic control.
- Deliver necessary equipment to all job sites and locations using truck and trailer.
- Keep records of delivery of both time and equipment.
- Will coordinate with the superintendents on jobs.
- Experience and current certifications for Advanced MOT
- Will be responsible for Maintenance of Traffic coordination and set-up
- Will work in very close proximity to traffic (including Interstate)
- Will be required to work from a moving vehicle regularly
- Will place cones and barrels as required to maintain the flow of traffic
- Will be responsible for maintaining all cones and barrels properly placed during production – checking for knocked over cones and barrels
- Will be responsible for the completion of all paperwork related to MOT
- Will maintain safety of projects by maintaining drop-offs, potholes, etc.

Crew of 3 to 7 employees
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
- Prior experience in MOT and Advanced MOT certification is required
- Must be computer literate to include Word and Excel
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid Standard Driver’s License Class D or higher.
