Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Location: Mobile, AL
Pay Rate: $25-$29 Based on Experience
Day Shift | Temp-to-Hire | On-Call Rotation Required

We're seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician with a strong background in crane electrical systems, motor controls, VFDs, and electrical troubleshooting. This position focuses on maintenance and troubleshooting—not new construction or electrical installations.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues on heavy industrial cranes and material handling equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance
• Troubleshoot motor controls, electrical control systems, VFDs, and electrical distribution equipment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and participate in an on-call rotation
• Work safely in a heavy industrial environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience performing electrical maintenance on cranes is highly preferred
• Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting experience
• Experience with:
  • Motor controls
  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
  • Electrical distribution systems
  • Industrial electrical control systems
• Ability to read electrical prints and troubleshoot independently
• Valid TWIC Card required
• Ability to work day shift and participate in an on-call schedule
