About this opening: The Automation Controls Specialist will be responsible for their assigned projects from receipt of order until completion of installation. This role will include but is not limited to: electrical design, pneumatic design, programming, testing and installation.

Duties:

The programming will consist of but is not limited to: PLCs, HMIs, Robots, VFDs, Servo drives and vision systems. Individual will be required to perform field service on previously installed equipment as well as equipment installed by other manufacturers.

Qualifications:

• Proficient in PLC and/or robot programming languages.
• Excellent analytical skills to be applied in the design, programming and troubleshooting of automated equipment.
• 2+ years of automation experience
• PLC and HMI programming experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and be a team player.
• Must be willing to travel up to 15% of the time
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
• Must be a U.S. Citizen

Desired Experience:

• Designing pneumatic controls systems
• Electrical design experience
• AutoCAD experience
• AutoCAD Electrical 2009 and up
• Motoman, Fanuc, or ABB robot programming
• Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Toyopuc, Omron, and/or Mitsubishi PLC programming
• Industrial I/O network configuration
• Cognex and/or Keyence vision system programming
