Internet Analyst

We are working on the improvement of speech recognition technology in Android devices and we are looking for native speakers of American English who would like to participate in this project.

Requirements:
Be a native speaker of American English (18+ years old) and living in the United States.
Have an Android device (phone/tablet) - iPhones/iPads/computers are not allowed.
Have stable internet connection.
You will be given a scenario and setting on how to conduct your speech recording.
Whichever scenario and condition you are given is at random.
You can be allocated up to 4 scenarios as an individual, or up to 6 scenarios if you have a partner who can work with you.
Task allocation is subject to availability. Hence, please work quickly once assigned to a scenario to have a higher chance to be allocated to another scenario.

Task Description:
Record 160 short American English prompts through a recording webpage. You will be given a setting (eg. stand close or a few feet away from your phone etc) and an imagined scenario to work on.
You should speak a minimum of 6 seconds per scenario provided to you. If you are assigned a task requiring to work with a partner, each partner will need to speak at least 10 seconds.
Specific instructions on the tasks will be given via email upon assignment to the project.
Duration: It would take approximately 45 minutes - 1 hour to work on the task.
Payment: You will be paid $10 - $15 per scenario you complete, depending on the difficulty of the setting provided to you. Should we request you to have a partner work with you, we will pay you double the amount.
