Aircraft Structures Technician

This is a great opportunity to join a long-term aircraft modification program supporting critical DoD missions. As a Structures Technician, you'll be part of a hands-on team inspecting, repairing, and modifying aircraft structures in a state-of-the-art hangar environment.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect aircraft structures for signs of damage, wear, or corrosion.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity of aircraft components.
• Repair structural damage, including cracks and corrosion, using specialized tools.
• Assemble and install structural parts and assemblies according to specifications.
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical drawings.
• Use precision measuring instruments to assess parts for defects or deviations.
• Operate ground support and test equipment to perform functional flight tests.
• Document maintenance, repair, and modification work performed.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.

Essential Skills:

• 58+ years of aircraft structures experience
• Modification and installation experience preferred
• Helicopter experience preferred but not required
• Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Huntsville, AL.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $39.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
