Position Overview:
Talladega College, NAIA member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference is accepting applications for the position of Head Softball Coach. This position is a Full-time, 10 month assignment, reporting to the Director of Athletics.
Responsibilities : Include the overall management of the program including coaching, the recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes in a rigorous academic environment, scheduling and budget management and travel arrangements. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; Master’s degree preferred; minimum of three years of coaching experience at the collegiate level required, head collegiate coaching experience preferred; demonstrated knowledge of NAIA and GCAC rules and a commitment to the academic development of student-athletes required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with staff, faculty, students, parents and alumni from diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
