As a Security Officer Patrol Team Member in Alabaster AL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and support patients visitors and staff with outstanding customer service and a caring team-driven culture built on integrity you will bring a reliable agile approach to daily patrols while helping create a welcoming environment.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures location-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including assisting with de-escalation and notifying appropriate personnel when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings hallways parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances exits and restricted areas verify access permissions when appropriate and document security-related concerns incidents and/or daily activity.
• Support a professional environment by giving directions assisting with visitor questions and communicating clearly with staff patients and emergency responders during routine and urgent situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
