Supervisor
Market Manager I (Tuscaloosa)
The Market Manager directs the operations of a full-service retail location, and sets the standard for a positive branch environment and excellent member service consistent with the pillars of Alabama One by providing effective leadership and coaching to the branch team while managing the daily operations of the branch. Market managers assign and direct the work of the retail and platform team; ensure effective communication with the team; serve as a conduit to management with member/team issues, accolades, and concerns; establish expectations, communicate goals, and provide feedback to ensure metrics are reached; confer with members as the principal loan officer to provide recommendations and guidance related to lending needs and analyze loan requests to make credit decisions based on established consumer lending guidelines, communicating decisions to the member; and oversee the general maintenance and security of his/her location by ensuring proper control and accountability of cash and adherence to applicable credit union policies and procedures. he/she will represent the branch and Alabama ONE in civic and community activities and partners with select employee groups to attract business and increase membership.
