As an Access Control Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue and track badges, and monitor activity to support security-related operations. You will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce incidents, and provide clear, respectful communication with employees, drivers, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Staff access control points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and delivery logs, and directing drivers and guests to the proper check-in and staging areas.
• Monitor inbound and outbound vehicle and trailer traffic through gates and yard entrances, documenting required information and communicating irregularities per post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying the appropriate contacts and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading dock areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
