Seasonal Opportunity: Loan Processor
Looking for a fast-paced seasonal role where your attention to detail truly matters? Join our lending team as a Seasonal Loan Processor and help members move confidently from application to closing. In this role, youll keep files accurate, complete, and on time so every document, signature, and payoff detail is exactly where it should be.
What youll do
- Process consumer loan and credit card documentation packets accurately and completely; collect required signatures and protect member privacy.
- Review, verify, and collate loan documents for completeness, correct signatures, and policy compliance (you catch the small things before they become big issues).
- Support members throughout the loan process by answering routine questions on products, rates, payoffs, and insurance options via phone, email, text, and in person.
- Coordinate title and lien steps with vendors; ensure collateral documentation is accurate, current, and properly perfected.
- Update loan data, assemble files, and upload loan documentation to online storage within required timeframes.
- Provide administrative support to the loan team, including post-closing adjustments and tracking/processing warranty and GAP claims as needed.
- Cross-sell credit union products and services while delivering a welcoming, professional member experience.

Youll be trusted to spot missing items, confirm accuracy on titles and collateral documents, follow established procedures, and respond to member requests promptly. If you enjoy organized work, checking your work twice, and keeping multiple tasks moving with minimal supervision, youll thrive.
What were looking for
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to review and analyze complex information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework/degree in a related field preferred.
- Customer service experience (1+ year required); consumer lending experience (2+ years preferred) or equivalent.
- Comfortable communicating clearly and professionally with members and teammates (written and verbal).
- Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Able to prioritize, meet deadlines, and stay focused amid interruptions and multiple concurrent tasks.
Seasonal schedule
This is a seasonal position supporting increased lending volume. Hours may vary based on business needs, with flexibility to work assigned schedules and occasional overtime when needed.
