Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K12 students in a school-based setting in Theodore, AL. The role is a contract position requiring on-site presence, with assignments spanning two schools in the area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student communication skills.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in progress monitoring.
- Adhere to district guidelines and state licensure requirements.
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Registration with the Board of Speech Examiners in Alabama.
- Pending Alabama Department of Education (DOE) licensure considered.
- Experience working in school settings preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload serving a diverse student population.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Theodore, AL (assigned to two schools).
- Contract period: March 2025 through May 29, 2026.
- Work hours: Approximately 35 hours per week.
- Role requires on-site presence throughout the contract term.
