Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K12 students in a school-based setting in Theodore, AL. The role is a contract position requiring on-site presence, with assignments spanning two schools in the area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
• Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student communication skills.
• Maintain accurate documentation and participate in progress monitoring.
• Adhere to district guidelines and state licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Registration with the Board of Speech Examiners in Alabama.
• Pending Alabama Department of Education (DOE) licensure considered.
• Experience working in school settings preferred.
• Ability to manage a caseload serving a diverse student population.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Theodore, AL (assigned to two schools).
• Contract period: March 2025 through May 29, 2026.
• Work hours: Approximately 35 hours per week.
• Role requires on-site presence throughout the contract term.
