Driver Recruiter (Birmingham)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing candidates to onboarding new hires. This role requires a strong understanding of talent acquisition strategies and the ability to build relationships with potential candidates. The Recruiter will work closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure that we attract top talent to our organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and selection.
- Utilize various platforms such as Ten Street for applicant tracking and management.
- Conduct cold calling to reach out to potential candidates and build a pipeline of talent.
- Implement succession planning strategies to ensure a robust talent pipeline for future needs.
- Stay updated on employment labor laws and best practices in recruiting.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate interactions and recruitment metrics.
- Provide an exceptional candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Experience
- Proven experience in class A CDL driver recruiting within a corporate or agency environment.
- Familiarity with Human Resources practices and principles.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems.
- Strong understanding of talent management processes and succession planning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with candidates at all levels.
- Knowledge of employment labor laws is preferred but not required.
- A proactive approach to sourcing candidates through networking, social media, and other innovative methods.
