Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Seeking a skilled Behavior Specialist or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a contract position in a school setting located in Eclectic, AL. This role is ideal for professionals committed to supporting students through evidence-based behavioral interventions and fostering positive educational outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Behavior Specialist.
- Conduct assessments and track data on student behaviors.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop effective strategies.
- Provide direct one-on-one support to students requiring behavioral assistance.
- Assist in training staff on behavior management techniques.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or equivalent experience as a Behavior Specialist.
- Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working within school environments is preferred.
- Ability to maintain accurate documentation and reports.
