Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A school district near Birmingham, AL is currently seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide essential therapeutic services to students. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in an educational setting, supporting children with speech and language challenges and contributing to their academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct prehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to optimize student outes
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans as needed
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology required
- Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Candidates pleting their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) are wele to apply
- Valid Alabama state license required
- Prior experience working in schools is preferred
