As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and help to support de-escalation when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and authorized access points, and report observed issues, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete routine reports and communicate clearly with site contacts, staff, and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, observations, and/or needed follow-up.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
