Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A travel opportunity is available for Special Education Teachers to support elementary students in Montgomery, AL schools. This role involves working onsite with both self-contained and inclusion classrooms to meet the diverse needs of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored instruction to elementary students with special needs.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Collaborate with general education teachers and staff to support inclusive practices.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with educational standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching licensure.
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings.
- Ability to manage both self-contained classrooms and inclusion environments.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
