Assembly Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician to assemble medical components and sub-components using manual or automated tools. A strong emphasis on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail is essential. You will work under supervision, following detailed work instructions and drawing requirements to perform assembly operations according to the production schedule. Effective communication with the Production team is vital to ensure timely product delivery that meets quality standards and company goals. Additionally, adherence to 5S and safe work environment practices is required.

• Assemble medical components and sub-components using manual or automated tools.
• Follow detailed work instructions and drawing requirements under supervision.
• Perform assembly operations according to the production schedule.
• Communicate with the Production team to ensure products meet quality standards and company goals.
• Maintain compliance with 5S and safe work environment practices.

• Proficiency in assembly using hand tools and automated tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Mechanical assembly skills including the use of calipers and tape measures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• General labor experience in an assembly environment.

Training will be provided on the day shift for 2-3 months, after which you will transition to the second shift. First shift hours are Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Second shift hours are 4:30 PM to 3:20 AM with a $2 shift differential. Weekend shifts are also available, with day shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, both Friday to Sunday, with 40 hours of pay.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Athens, AL.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
