Immediate W2 contract position available in Birmingham, AL.
Estimated Duration: 6 Months

• Acts as the authority responsible for reviewing and approving access authorizations.
• This position involves evaluating personnel background checks, assessing risk levels, and making recommendations based on regulatory and company policies.

Minimum Education:

• HS Diploma.

Qualifications:

• 0 - 5 years of experience in background investigations and security clearances, with knowledge of nuclear facility regulations.
• Certification in Background Investigations (CBI) is advantageous.
• Nuclear In-Processing experience in Nuclear or Construction is highly desired.
• Location is not an issue as long as they are close to one of our sites (preferably) or the Birmingham office.
• They will be supporting outages at all nuclear sites.
  • Successful candidates will be expected to work from the site they are closest to (Dothan, AL / Baxley, GA / Waynesboro, GA). They will be able to support other sites from their location.
  • Any travel will be reimbursed.
• They are looking for workers that can support all outage cycles in the Spring and Fall.
  • Individuals will be released after each outage cycle. However, it would total to about 30 weeks per year.
