Contract SR Structural Designer 1

We are looking for a Contract SR Structural Designer 1 to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of structural design principles and experience in a variety of structural engineering applications. The position will be based in our office in [City, State].

Responsibilities:

• Performing structural design calculations and analysis
• Preparing and reviewing structural drawings and specifications
• Working with other engineers and architects to develop and implement design solutions
• Ensuring that designs meet all applicable codes and standards
• Providing technical support to clients and project teams

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent required with additional technical training or experience
• 10+ years of experience in Civil/structural design
• Strong understanding of structural design principles and practices
• Steel/concrete detailing experience is required
• Have 3D modeling experience and produce clear, concise drawings
• Experience with Advance Steel is a plus.
• Good organization skills with ability to balance multiple projects.
• Experience in performing site walkdowns, preforming steel inspections and writing site reports is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
