Pay and Job Info for Industrial Electrician:

• Pay: $32 - $35 based on previous experience.
• Schedule: Monday- Friday working 8-10 hour shifts and some Saturdays
• Benefits available after 90 days: Dental, Vision, and Health Insurance

Job Duties of Industrial Electrician:

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and components (480V/3-phase systems, motors, PLCs, VFDs, etc.)
• Perform professional conduit bending, installation, and layout (EMT, RMC, PVC, etc.)
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low- and medium-voltage switchgear and distribution systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and control diagrams
• Diagnose electrical faults using testing devices and visual inspections
• Maintain and repair electrical components for production equipment and control systems
• Support equipment upgrades, retrofits, and new installations
• Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and local safety standards and codes
• Document maintenance activities and update electrical schematics as needed

Job Requirements for Industrial Electrician:

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on industrial electrical experience
• Licensed or certified as an Industrial Electrician or journeyman-level equivalent
• Proven experience with conduit bending and electrical raceway installation
• In-depth knowledge of switchgear systems and electrical distribution infrastructure
• Familiar with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
• Strong understanding of electrical theory, NEC, and OSHA regulations
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in industrial conditions (heat, height, confined spaces)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
