We are looking for an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team in Selma, Alabama. In this role, you will focus on providing advanced financial analytics and insights to support our manufacturing operations. This is a contract position that offers the opportunity to work onsite and contribute to key financial processes and reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to analyze and visualize business and financial data.
• Manage commission calculations and payments across multiple sales territories.
• Perform month-end financial close activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Collaborate with plant teams to provide detailed financial insights and support operational decision-making.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP to analyze complex datasets.
• Conduct financial modeling and ad hoc analysis to support business strategies.
• Participate in data mining and relationship building to create actionable financial reports.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
• Strong knowledge of Power BI for business intelligence and data visualization.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• Experience in data mining and creating relationships between complex data sources.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
