Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading large-scale, complex projects from initiation to completion. This role ensures projects meet client requirements, stay within budget and schedule, and comply with quality standards. The position requires cross-functional leadership and delivering innovative, high-quality solutions in industrial automation or engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities- Translate client requirements into clear project scopes, deliverables, and tasks.
- Ensure project execution meets timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Serve as primary client contact for communications, documentation, and deliverables.
- Coordinate project kickoff and review meetings; manage contractual agreements and post-sales changes.
- Collaborate with planning teams to develop, maintain, and communicate project schedules.
- Monitor project budgets, schedules, and performance; proactively manage risks and variances.
- Lead project close-out activities and ensure smooth handover to operations teams.
- Promote safety and regulatory compliance in collaboration with site and safety teams.
- Conduct project evaluations, capture lessons learned, and prepare comprehensive close-out reports.
- Lead and manage project teams, ensuring proper resource allocation.
- Facilitate meetings and track action items using project management systems.
- Provide regular status reporting to leadership and maintain the Project Execution Plan.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on specifications, procurement, and commissioning.
- Translate contractual requirements into actionable engineering deliverables.
- Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in industrial, engineering, or automation environments.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, schedules, and project risks.
- Experience collaborating with contract management, project controls, and engineering teams.
- Proficiency in project management tools and reporting systems.
- Results-oriented with strong focus on execution and quality.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities in dynamic environments.
- Experience in material handling, automation, or intralogistics solutions is a plus.
