JR. GSIL Test Engineer

Overview:

Signalink is looking to hire a Junior GSIL Test Engineer to deliver Software / Hardware testing of the Army's IAMD Battle Command System (IBCS). The role involves a range of responsibilities that are crucial for ensuring the quality and reliability of products and delivering cutting-edge test engineering solutions.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Software / Hardware in the Loop (S/HWIL) testing of the Army's IAMD Battle Command System (IBCS)


• Assist in the Integration of key GSIL Test architectures from cable installation to Software checkout


• Execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures from the defined test objectives that for the system under test.


• Perform tests of software and/or IT systems to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• AS in a related field with 0-5 years or BS in related field with 0-3 years' experience


• S Citizenship required


• Must be able to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Experience with Linux 


• Knowledge of basic networking (IP, routing)


• Formal software testing experience 


• Familiarity with test tools utilized to simulate data input or capture data 


• Integrating and troubleshooting software and hardware within a simulation environment
