**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within a healthcare environment.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors.
+ Observe and report any unusual conditions, incidents, or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
+ Assist with access control, visitor management, and adherence to facility protocols in accordance with healthcare industry standards.
+ Support emergency preparedness and response efforts as directed by site leadership and Allied Universal procedures.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
