Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Soliant is working with a growing veterinary compounding pharmacy that's looking for a Staff Pharmacist to join its team. This is an opportunity to combine your compounding expertise with your love of animals while working alongside a team dedicated to providing high-quality, customized medications for veterinary patients.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support a team of 3–4 pharmacy technicians while overseeing daily pharmacy workflow.
• Verify prescriptions, review approximately 25–30 recurring formularies, and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Assist with inventory management and support efficient day-to-day pharmacy operations.
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Foster a team-oriented culture focused on outstanding care for veterinary patients.

Requirements

• Active Pharmacist license (state requirements apply).
• Previous experience in veterinary, equine, or animal compounding pharmacy highly preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with experience supervising or mentoring pharmacy staff.
• Ability to learn quickly, follow established procedures, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Pharmacy Overview

• Veterinary and equine compounding pharmacy
• Primarily non-sterile compounding with some sterile prescriptions
• Ships approximately 200+ prescriptions daily
• Team of 4 pharmacists, each supervising 3–4 technicians
• Current systems include PK Software and QuickBooks Online
