SAW TABLE OPERATOR
LOCATION: RUSSELLVILLE, AL
JOB PURPOSE
Sets up and operates CNC Plasma Table (Whitney, Kinetic, or similar) machine to cut or perform other machining operations on steel in the manufacture of parts for heavy machinery. Determines operation sequence, selects and adjusts machine to perform proper cutting/burning of plate.
JOB DUTIES
- Read prints and check for errors
- Layout and burn/cut structural steel
- Identify and number material for fabrication
- May operate other computer numeric controlled machinery as needed to meet production
- Welding maybe required on occasion
- Perform other duties as assigned
SKILLS
- Forklift experience required
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints & BOM’s
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3 years’ preferred experience as a CNC machine operator
SHIFT: 5AM-3:30PM Monday – Thursday (sometimes overtime is required)
PAY RATE: Starting at $16.25/HR Based on experience
