Position Summary:

Phased n Research is seeking a Senior Cyber Analyst to support the Strategic and Operational Rockets and Missiles (STORM) program. This position plays a critical role in protecting the cybersecurity integrity of weapons systems and will serve as the on-site subject matter expert within the Engineering Directorate's Cyber Product Team.

The ideal candidate will bring expertise in cybersecurity engineering and weapons system cyber acquisition and provide full-spectrum support for Risk Management Framework (RMF) activities, Clinger-Cohen Act compliance, and cybersecurity test execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the on-site cybersecurity subject matter expert during program office events, demonstrations, exercises, and cyber assessments.

• Provide product-focused cybersecurity engineering support for STORM products, including the Precision Strike Missile.

• Support and track RMF activities including:

  • Security Plans

  • POA&Ms

  • Security Controls

  • Annual Security Reviews

  • Network Diagrams and Data Flows

  • Authorization Artifacts

• Maintain compliance and ATO workflow tracking in eMASS (NIPR and SIPR environments).

• Analyze static code scans, STIG tool outputs, and vulnerability reports to inform cybersecurity posture.

• Provide daily/weekly cyber status updates to STORM O-ISSM, RMF Lead, and Engineering leadership.

• Report schedule impacts, requirement changes, and cyber readiness to Product Management.

• Support planning and execution of cybersecurity test events, including:

  • Cyber Table-Top (CTT)

  • Cooperative Vulnerability Identification (CVI)

  • Adversarial Cybersecurity Developmental Test & Evaluation (ACDT)

  • Cooperative Vulnerability & Penetration Assessment (CVPA)

  • Adversarial Assessment (AA)

• Assist in defining cybersecurity Statements of Work (SOWs), translating operational needs into actionable requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Required Certification: CompTIA Security+ (must be active prior to start date).

• Demonstrated experience with RMF processes and use of eMASS.

• Strong analytical and written communication skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Experience with weapons system cyber acquisition is highly desirable.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum of 23 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity or information assurance, preferably within DoD environments.
• Experience with penetration testing, red teaming, and vulnerability assessments
• Proven experience supporting DoD cyber assessments, including CVPA and AA.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity policy, RMF, and DoD acquisition processes.
• Active DoD clearance (Secret or higher required).
