Office Custodian – Manufacturing Facility

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Office Custodian to maintain cleanliness and organization in our office and shared spaces within a manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and customers.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, works independently, and understands the importance of cleanliness in a professional and industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities

Office & Administrative Areas

• Clean and sanitize offices, conference rooms, reception area, and restrooms

• Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors

• Empty trash and recycling bins daily

• Clean interior glass, doors, and light switches

• Restock paper products and soap dispensers

Employee Breakroom

• Clean and sanitize tables, countertops, and appliances

• Wipe down microwaves, refrigerators (exterior & scheduled interior cleaning)

• Sweep and mop floors

• Empty trash and remove food waste

• Maintain overall cleanliness and organization

Front Walkway & Entry

• Sweep sidewalks and entry areas

• Remove debris and litter

• Maintain clean, welcoming building entrance

• Assist with light seasonal maintenance (as needed)

Additional Duties

• Monitor and report maintenance or repair needs

• Maintain cleaning supply inventory

• Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines

• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Reliable and punctual

• Attention to detail

• Ability to lift up to 30–40 lbs

• Comfortable working in an active manufacturing environment

Work Schedule

• Full time

• M-F, 8:00-4:30

Physical Requirements

• Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and repetitive movement

• Exposure to cleaning chemicals (PPE provided)
