Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An Elementary Special Education Teacher opportunity is available to support students with diverse learning needs in a dynamic school setting. This role focuses on delivering individualized instruction and fostering an inclusive classroom environment that promotes growth and success for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each students unique needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to ensure cohesive learning strategies
- Monitor and assess student progress regularly, adjusting instruction to meet evolving goals
- Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and independence

Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification/licensure
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education settings
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, instructional strategies, and assessment methods
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent munication and organizational skills
Location: Elementary school setting in Millbrook, Alabama
