**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately when emergencies arise.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner to support the order and security-related needs of the location.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential concerns.
+ Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas for any unusual activity, helping to protect people, property, and assets at the location.
+ Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and suspicious activity according to Allied Universal and site protocols.
+ Assist with access control by verifying credentials and providing directions or information to customers and staff as needed.
+ Remain visible and approachable to provide a sense of security-related presence and support positive interactions with customers and employees.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Loss prevention experience is preferred.
+ Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
