Sr Facilities Manager (Onsite with Travel) Job ID 243974 Posted 29-Oct-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Facilities Management Location(s) Mobile - Alabama - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE Sr. Facilities Manager, you will manage building operations and maintenance within a region in the Southeastern United States. Overseeing forty to fifty large manufacturing facilities. This is a hybrid role based in Mobile, AL, with approximately 30%-40% travel required to other manufacturing facilities in your designated region. You will be responsible for managing 5,000,000 sq ft across these facilities. This role involves managing eight direct reports, that will be covering the upkeep of these facilities. This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans. **What You'll Do:** + Provide formal supervision to employees. Track the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees. + Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed. + Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance by working with technicians, vendors, and contractors. + Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues. + Prepare and manage large and high-profile capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports. + Perform facility inspections quality assurance following local, state, and federal regulations. Suggest and implement operational efficiencies, repairs, and upgrade opportunities. + Create environmental health and safety procedures for facilities. + Develop vendor relationships and oversee invoicing procedures. Review and approve purchase orders for the procurement of parts, services, and labor for projects. + Apply a broad knowledge of the business, own discipline, and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence others to adopt a different point of view while being guided by policies and departmental plans. + Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity. + Understand and recognize the broader impact across the department. + Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline. **What You'll Need:** + Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5 - 10 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Valid driver's license required. Facility Management certification preferred. + Must have experience in managing facilities within a critical manufacturing environment. (Food & Beverage production backgrounds will not be considered). + Must have prior experience as a Regional Facilities Manager. + Experience with budgeting at a high level of understanding. + Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. + Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems. + Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job discipline, multiple job disciplines, and department. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. + Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset. + Intermediate math skills.
