JENNMAR Services, is seeking a General Contractor Foreman/Lead Person for positions in the Smyrna, GA area.

Job Responsibilities for General Contractor Foreman/Lead Person:

• Accurately read and interpret construction blueprints, site plans, and specifications.
• Establish grades and elevations using appropriate tools and techniques; complete detailed daily reports.
• Supervise and coordinate a crew of approximately 10 workers, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
• Plan project activities and crew assignments at least one week in advance, proactively addressing potential challenges.
• Operate heavy machinery and equipment safely and effectively, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Work alongside the crew when necessary to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with crew members, subcontractors, and supervisors to ensure alignment on project goals.
• Enforce job site safety rules and company policies.
• Monitor job progress, materials, and equipment to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by project managers or superintendents.

Position Requirements for General Contractor Foreman/Lead Person:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in tunneling (hand mining or tunnel boring machine [TBM]) or jack & bore operations.
• Must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including drug screening and criminal background check.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
