As an Armed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will control access, respond to alarms and/or incidents, and document observations with clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Perform armed patrol duties in accordance with post orders, applicable laws, and Allied Universal guidelines, including maintaining control of issued equipment and reporting any concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and office areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Complete required security-related reports, logs, and activity documentation, including incident reports, patrol documentation, and access control records as required by the site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
