Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $14.34 / Hour
Job Schedule:
DayTimeTue10:00 PM - 06:00 AMThur10:00 PM - 06:00 AMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, entry points, and other restricted locations, noting conditions that could impact daily operations.
- Monitor access to the location by checking identification, verifying authorization, and directing staff, visitors, and/or contractors in accordance with site procedures.
- Support order at the location by observing interactions, helping to deter unauthorized activity, and communicating with site contacts and/or local responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
