Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Assessment IV insertion Foley insertion NGT placement Description: Position involves working in a medical/surgical unit. The unit cares for patients in various conditions, including oncology, neuro, and palliative care. Nurses are expected to manage a patient ratio of 6:1. Equipment used includes Alaris IV pumps. The electronic medical record system is used for documentation. Nurses should exhibit the 4 Cs: commitment, curiosity, communication, and connection. This position requires floating when needed. Candidates with experience in med/surg are preferred. Scrub color required is navy. Fleece is considered unacceptable attire.
