Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide transportation for residents to and from medical appointments, social activities, and other approved destinations
- Ensure trips are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to ensure the safety of residents
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
- Report any maintenance issues or incidents to the supervisor
- Assist residents with boarding and alighting, ensuring safety and comfort
- Secure wheelchairs, walkers, and other mobility aids
- Maintain accurate records of trips, including times, destinations, and any incidents
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, healthcare providers, and staff
- Provide friendly and courteous service
- Address concerns from residents or their families professionally
Qualifications:
- Valid chauffeur driver’s license in State of AL with a clean driving record
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in State of AL
- Previous driving experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and able to work well under pressure
