Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) role is available for the 2026-2027 school year maternity leave opening, located in Huntsville, AL. This position supports students in a school setting and requires expertise as an SLP with CCC certification and school-based experience. The assignment runs from August through October, offering 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborating with educators and other professionals to support student progress.
- Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate records.
- Participating in meetings and case conferences as needed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist certification with CCC credentials.
- Prior experience working as an SLP in a school environment.
- Ability to work independently within a full-time schedule.
- Compliance with all state and federal education regulations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
This is a travel assignment located in Huntsville, AL, geared toward professionals who are comfortable supporting students in a dynamic school setting. It offers an opportunity to contribute to student success during a temporary maternity leave period.
