OTR CDL A Flatbed Drivers | $150,000+ Year! | Tuscaloosa, AL TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support OTR operations based in Tuscaloosa, AL . This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. CDL A Flatbed Driver Details- Schedule: 2 weeks out, 4 days home, start time may vary
- Pay: starting pay .62cpm - more if driver has Hazmat, TWIC, and more years of experience
- Route Type: OTR
- Freight / Load Type: Roofing and construction materials
- Equipment: NEW Mack Anthem - Flatbed trailer. Automatic
- Handling: Tarping and Strapping
- License: CDL A
- Experience: 6-12+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience. Also accepting students with transferable MOS experience. Paid Training included.
- Endorsements: Hazmat, TWIC preferred - higher CPM
- Equipment Experience: Flatbed preferred, but training provided
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
- Safely operate equipment on OTR routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
- Meet the physical demands of the role, including strapping and tarping
